QSL card from CR7BU, Radio Clube de Moçambique, Lourenço Marques, on 4.920 MHz for a report on 17 November 1954. Power was 7500 watts. Also another one of their stations CR7AA on 7.420 MHz also with 7500 watts.


This station identified as "Lourenço Marques for happy listening." This was a very popular commercial station that broadcast programming to South Africa. They operated many stations from the 90 meter band to the 40 meter band. This was when Mozambique was still a Portuguese possession. Lourenço Marques is now known as Maputo.
